blog 3 Response to hype

 In the hype passage author kalle lasn explains how big advertisement is in the u.s.The author explains the quantity of tv commercials,radio commercial and ads being distributed to the public.I agree with the points in this passage.                                                                                                                                       One of the reasons I agree with this passage is when the author explains how theirs advertisements all around us.For example when I go online their are always ads on every website.Their are also alot of ad pop ups.Or whenever I go to the city everywhere I look there is an advertisement for something.Whether its an ad for snacks,clothes or electronics.                                                                                                          Another reason i agree with this passage is how the author states the absurdity of today's advertisements.The amount of advertisements being mentioned by the author is a crazy amount.I know people that are always buying new things that they don't need just because they saw an ad for it.My cousin purchased a ipad when he has a desktop and a laptop computer.So in my experience advertisement is getting out of control.                                                         In conclusion the author is giving his readers his view on advertisement.By the author's quotes on how he would hear beethoven's ninth symphony in his head.I feel the author was from a time were ads were not as big as it is today

allegory of the cave

The allegory in the cave is a text about a man who lived in a cave only seeing shadows but views the outside world for the first time.He never seen sunlight or the sky prior to leaving the cave.When he first left the cave he would feel pain in his eyes due to living in darkness for all this time.People or other creatures were unfamiliar to him because he was used to seeing them as figures on the cave wall.He had to learn how to adjust to the outside world as oppose to living in a cave.The moral of this text is a man who lived a certain way his whole life now has to adjust to living in a completely different way

In the hype article the author is stating how advertisement in the u.s  has increased.I feel that advertisement will grow even more in the near future.I think that advertisement can be good for buisness but i feel that too much money goes into advertisements.I don't think it is good for the country if we put all that money in one area

blog 1 hype

In my essay im going to explain the negative and positive of marketing advertisements.How it can be good for busness but bad for the economy.

Marketing advertisement such as tv commercials,radio commercials and etc are a good way to sell products.Everywhere we go we see an ad for something like snacks,hair products,clothing,and other items.Its a sure way to distribute whatever the item may be.

A negative about advertisements is the amount of money the us spends on a daily 12 billion display ads,3million radio commercials and 200,000 tv commercials.If a majority of this money was spent elsewhere like to rebuild schools,roads and trainstations.This can really help the u.s in other areas

In conclusion I think advertisements are good to get products known.but I also think that way too much money goes to advertising.
